In partnership with the Ministry of Health, our comprehensive investments in Sierra Leone’s public health system are transforming health outcomes in hospitals, clinics, and communities.
Areas of Focus
PIH-SL strives to make health care a human right for all people, starting with those who need it most. We provide comprehensive primary, maternal and mental health care services as well as treatment for complex diseases like HIV and tuberculosis and train the next generation of health care workers.
Our Work
In partnership with the Government of Sierra Leone, PIH-SL supports 11 health facilities and works across eight districts in an effort to build systems that protect every Sierra Leonean’s right to health, especially those most vulnerable to sickness and injustice.
